I offer Peer Informed Counselling and Mentoring support for people living with Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective and Bipolar Disorder in Lake Macquarie and Newcastle.

I offer one free session a week, you can join the list by emailing heise.c.e@gmail.com with subject heading

In Person

$50/hr for people living on disability pension

$90/hr for everyone else.

All sessions must be paid for in full prior to the commencement of chat.

You may prefer support on an ongoing basis or only every now and then when your symptoms are flaring up. It is totally up to you.

I am not here just to support you in the recovery journey but I can listen to you and talk to you about your delusions and hallucinations or any other symptoms you are experiencing.

All discussions will be completely confidential.

I can meet you at a cafe or in a park, it is up to you, wherever you feel most comfortable.

I do not prescribe medication, your medical treatment and medical care will be completely independent of our work together. I can communicate with your health care team and family members if it is something you want.

I believe every person with schizophrenia needs a safe person they can talk too without fear of involuntary hospitalisation. I want to be that person for you.
